WE fell in LOVE!

We, the sisters Jutta and Inge - originally from Germany - fell in love 15 years ago, with the roaring oceans, the majestic mountains, the windy beaches, the beautiful people and the amazing wildlife of AFRICA. Since we run a travel agency in Cape Town, Cedric's on Tour (click here for more information), for more than a decade  we have been in the remarkably fortunate position of being able to take our friends and guests on exclusive Safari trips to show them the endless wonders of the southern African wilderness. Nothing can prepare one for this untamed, primal beauty – and no attempt to put the experience into words can do it justice. The endless plains, variety of animals, magic sunsets and diverse sounds of nature by day or night – all eluded our verbal definition!

In 2006 we took two orphan kids from the township Khayelitsha near Cape Town into our lives. In order to finance their education and lifestyle we created the Charity project "Positive About South Africa". Furthermmore, we introduced the German/French delicacy "Flammkuchen" to South Africa and established a catering business in the Western Cape called Piroschka's Kitchen (click here for more information). The proceeds of Piroschka's Kitchen help supporting the kids to this day.

We are passionate about everything we do, we love crafting and we are always full of ideas! During our numerous Safari trips the concept for our new venture, Cape Town Beanies, was born. Inspired by the amazing Colors of African bids and we decided to encapsulate this magical beauty in something tangible, to take home. Our goal is, further down the line, to extend our existing charity project “Positive about South Africa and help providing more and more educational opportunities and assistance for children in need.
